Ayushman Bharat Yojana
Ayushman Bharat Yojana
Ayushman Bharat Yojana is a health program started by the Government of India to make sure everyone in the country can get good healthcare. It was launched by Prime Minister Narendra Modi on April 14, 2018, on the birth anniversary of B.R. Ambedkar.
This scheme aims to solve healthcare problems at all levels—primary, secondary, and tertiary—by providing quality medical facilities and financial support to people who are economically weaker. Under the scheme, beneficiaries receive health insurance of up to Rs 5 lakh, free treatment at government hospitals, and other benefits to ensure no one is left behind.
