Dr. Ambedkar Inter Caste Marriage Scheme:
Dr. Ambedkar Chair in Social Justice, Indian Institute of Public Administration is deeply indebted to Dr.Ambedkar Foundation, Ministry of Social Justice & Empowerment, Government of India for sponsoring the Chair. The project has been undertaken as a part of the Chair’s activities for 2017-19.

If someone does that then he/she would be disowned by their families. Dr. Ambedkar seeing this situation introduced a scheme especially for inter Caste marriages.
According to Dr. Ambedkar’s Inter Caste Marriage Scheme, every newly married couple would be provided with Rs.2.50 Lakh.50% of their amount will be transferred to their account after their marriage and then 50% after the 5 years of their marriage.
