Objective of the Madras University Free Education Scheme

Seat Allocation (Category-wise)
Category (i):
- 1/3rd of seats are reserved for children of widows, orphans, or abandoned children based on marks obtained in key subjects.
Category (ii):
- 1/3rd of seats are reserved for first-generation graduates, disabled students, or transgender individuals based on marks in key subjects.
Category (iii):
- 1/3rd of seats are merit-based, awarded to students who achieve 80% or more in key subjects.
