eShram one-stop solution launched by the Government of India for unorganized workers in India was launched on 24 October 2024 to provide seamless access to various social security and welfare schemes through a single integrated platform. It aims to help unorganized workers gain greater awareness and easy access to social sector benefits while expanding the support framework for millions of workers across the country.
Eligibility Criteria
- To be eligible for this scheme, the applicant must be a citizen of India
- Only those people between the age of 16 to 59 years can be eligible for this scheme
- To apply in this scheme, the applicant must be employed in the unorganized sector or as a non-unionised worker
- The applicant should not be a member of government funded EPFO, ESIC, or NPS then he/she will be eligible for this scheme.
- To be eligible for this scheme, the applicant must have an active mobile number linked to the loan
- Only those who are not liable to pay income tax can be eligible in this scheme.

Registration Procedure
Step.1: In this way the applicant for registration has to first visit the self-registration page of the e-Sham portal
Step.2: When the applicant goes to the self-registration page, he has to click on the Send Step.3: OTP option after entering the cell phone number associated with this loan.
Step.4: The loan number that was delivered to the OTP app mobile device and the acceptance of the terms and conditions must be entered there, after which the applicant must check and verify the personal information displayed on the screen.
Step.5: The applicant has to fill the required fields along with their address and educational background
