Those farmers who do not have land can now get financial help through this initiative of the Odisha government. The government has provided an amount of Rs.511 crores which is Rs.511 crores. KALIA Scheme – Key Features
1. Financial Assistance for Cultivation:
Small and marginal farmer families (those sharing a common ration number) will receive ₹25,000 per farm over five seasons.
This support helps farmers with their cultivation needs, allowing them to buy seeds, fertilizers, pesticides, and other necessary inputs.
2. Financial Assistance for Livelihood:
- Landless agricultural households will receive ₹12,500 for agricultural-related activities such as:
- Small goat-rearing units
- Mini-layer units
- Duckery units
- Fishery kits for fishermen
- Mushroom cultivation
- Bee-keeping
3. Support for Vulnerable Agricultural Households:
Families of vulnerable cultivators and landless agricultural laborers will receive ₹10,000 per year for their basic needs.
Vulnerable households include those with elderly or physically disabled members or those facing other challenges.
4. Life Insurance for Cultivators and Landless Laborers:
Cultivators and landless laborers aged 18-50 with savings accounts are eligible for ₹2 lakhs in life insurance coverage at a premium of ₹330 and ₹2 lakhs in accident coverage at a premium of ₹12.
The Odisha government covers part of the premium: ₹165 for life insurance and ₹6 for accident coverage.
For those aged 51-70, the state government fully covers the ₹12 accident insurance premium.
5. Interest-Free Crop Loans:
Farmers recognized by the gram panchayat can receive crop loans of up to ₹50,000 without interest.

Eligibility Criteria
- Odisha Government has announced a unique program for the state of Odisha in which the eligibility criteria are defined as follows Candidates who want to check the list of Kalia Yojana must meet the eligibility criteria.
- Applicant should reside in Odisha.
- The applicant must be a member of a minority or disadvantaged group
- The applicant should belong to low low-income and poor family
- If a person works for or has joined the federal government, state government, or any other agency, he is not eligible and he is not named in this program.
- The applicant must have an open and active bank account.
- Farmers who are subject to tax payment structures will not be eligible to apply for Kalia Yojana.
About Kaia Yojana
To provide financial assistance and other basic needs to farmers who are poor in the state, the Odisha state government has launched a new program called Kalya Yojana. But the undeserving are the former people who do not have basic needs, they are very poor, and they are being provided with various benefits.
This initiative has been taken by the farmers of Wadisha with INR 5000. All the farmers of Risha state can benefit greatly from this scheme and also be eligible to apply for the Qari Yojana.

How to view the new Kalia Yojana List
Follow the steps below to see your name in the Kaliya Yojana list.
- First, open the official website.
- The home page will open.
- Now click on Beneficiary List.
- A new tab will open.
- Select your district and city.
- All the blocks under your district will open in front of you on your screen.
- Select your block and gram panchayat from the district-wise applicant list and block-wise gram panchayat list in the edition.
- Then click on the View button. The result will contain recipient names in PDF format which you can verify.
- It will include two lists, one for small farmers and the other for agricultural laborers who have sufficient agricultural land.
- Now open a desired PDF and a new page will open in front of you.
- Enter the captcha code given on the screen and proceed to the plus sign.
- Finally, download the list for your future use.
