GOI has launched Card Scheme (SVAMITVA Yojana) for poor people of India. This is a landmark scheme financed by the central government to facilitate the villagers to issue their ‘property cards’ (proof of ownership of property) and to avail loans and other benefits from these cards and to operate their businesses. afforded to fulfill.

• As land ownership in rural areas will be accurate and up-to-date, each place will be surveyed like Hindustan Pherjati will have its own records, creating a reliable system of property verification.

• Enter basic details, including the name, address, mobile number and e-mail ID and land-related details in the application form on the registration form page
• After knowing all the information and details carefully and submit the online registration form then on receipt of the same along with a request you will be informed to get more information.

After the registration process, the residential land will be measured through drones, creating a digital map of every property which falls within the village limits. The survey is being conducted in the presence of Gram Panchayat, the Revenue Officer, Property owners and a police team. 

In case of any dispute, the issues or conflicts must be reported within 15-40 days of the survey. In the absence of any such dispute, the state governments will create a property card for land in the property owner’s name.

With the launch, the scheme was introduced initially to around one lakh property holders living in 763 villages in six states.

Following are the criteria that are required for distribution of land to be eligible to obtain land ownership records after conducting a complete land survey:

On or after 25th September 2018, they can use the inhabited land in the village, for which they are eligible to get the land ownership record and resolve any issues they may have in this regard. can

To receive property ownership certificate under PM SVAMITVA scheme you need some important documents which are listed below:

• Application Form: Complete the sent application process as per the scheme.
• Proof of Identity: Submit documents such as an ID card, passport, or driver’s license as directed.
• Residence Proof: Submit a valid IT Card Driving License or Passport
• Aadhaar Card: Provide a copy of your Aadhaar card.
• Property Documents: Submit the documents proving the ownership of the property as per your documents.
• Ownership Certificate: Present your correct ownership certificate i.e. legal status of the property.

To get SVAMITVA card online you can download through an SMS link which will be sent to their respective mobile phone by the Ministry Govt. The process will also be followed by the physical distribution of property cards by respective state governments.

The SVAMITVA scheme uses modern technology in the form of maps to survey properties in rural areas and find out their complete record:

• Satellite imagery from ISRO is used to verify and refine the maps, which are then thoroughly scrutinized.

• Develops an accurate Geographic Information System (GIS) for each village.

• Implements an online monitoring system to track progress and digitise land records.

PM Narendra Modi distributed ROR to beneficiaries of PM Swamitwa Scheme.

On February 13, 2024 :  Prime Minister Narendra Modi distributed 1.75 lakh Record of Rights (Adhikar Abhilek) documents to the beneficiaries of the PM SVAMITVA scheme. These ROR documents serve as documentary evidence for the beneficiaries, helping to identify specific pieces of land and hold absolute rights over them. The scheme is expected to be completed by the end of the financial year 2024-25.

PM SVAMITVA Drone Survey Completed in Over 2.90 Lakh Villages, 1.66 Crore Property Cards Generated, Scheme Wins Best Innovation Award

On January 12, 2024 : According to a recent update provided by the central government, the drone survey under the PM Swamitwa scheme has covered more than 2.90 lakh villages across India. Due to its innovative technology-led approach, the PM SVAMITVA scheme has been awarded the ‘Best Innovation Award’ for sandbox innovation by the Indian School of Business, Hyderabad. Every special people who have got full freedom can raise voice for their right under this scheme and make themselves empowered and dignified.

The scheme is complemented with preparation of property cards for all inhabited villages in Uttarakhand, Puducherry, Haryana, Andaman and Nicobar and Goa. The PM SVAMITVA scheme is a landmark initiative that has changed the landscape of land ownership in rural India. Moreover, the Uttar Pradesh government has covered more than 1.25 crore families under the PM Swamitwa scheme and has decided to extend their support to them.
