Indian citizens can now apply online for the YEIDA Plot Scheme Diwali and purchase plots at affordable rates. The application process for this scheme began on October 31, 2024, and the last date to apply is November 30, 2024. The plot draw date is set for December 27, 2024. Purpose of the YEIDA Plot Scheme Diwali
The YEIDA Plot Scheme Diwali is a Diwali gift for citizens to acquire plots at affordable rates. To ensure that more citizens can access plots, the authority will focus on providing smaller plots. Under this scheme, 344 plots are available in Sector 24A, and 477 plots are available in Blocks 9A and 9B of Sector 18. The plots come in four sizes: 120 sq. meters, 162 sq. meters, 200 sq. meters, and, for the first time, 250 sq. meters.

Eligibility Criteria
General Category:
- Applicants must be over 18 years of age, and if applying in partnership, a legal agreement is necessary.
- All Indian/NRI citizens who are not prohibited by Indian or UP government laws from purchasing property can apply.
- Each eligible citizen may apply for only one plot under this scheme. Those who already own a residential plot or flat in any other scheme are not eligible for allotment under this scheme.
- If it is found that the applicant’s parents, spouse, or children already own a plot, the deposit will be forfeited.
- Citizens may apply with a co-applicant, provided they have a close family relationship.
- If both husband and wife apply for plots and both are allotted plots, one must return a plot within a month.
Reserved Category:
- Applicants must be over 18 years of age, and if in partnership, a legal agreement is required.
- Only industrial entities, including managing directors/partners, trustees, etc., are eligible if they already have a plot allotment.
