In the state of Assam, the Governor of Assam State Mr. Laxman Prasad Acharya has launched a financial assistance program for the candidates of UPSC Civil Services Examination on 17 September 2024 named Assam Pratibha Protsahan Yojana. This youth empowerment program is an important initiative for UPSC aspirants. Financial assistance will be provided to eligible applicants under this program. Assam Pratibha Pratishahan Yojana will help 512 students to excel in the UPSC Civil Services Examination both Prelims and Mains by providing tools and guidance related to the Direct Coaching Program. Coaching fee accommodation and food cost will be met by the government through scholarship. Assam Pratibha Protsahan Yojana has been launched for the students residing in the state Government has started accepting applications from 27th September 2024 All the applicants who want to apply in this scheme can apply by submitting application in this scheme The last date is 6th October 2024. The objective of the scheme is to provide coaching assistance to the UPSC candidates through which 512 students will benefit through direct coaching in Delhi NCR and through online coaching. 500 students will get benefits in this scheme Screening test will be conducted on 20th October 2024 and result will be declared on 27th October 2024 Coaching start date is 18th November 2024

The main objective of the government to start this program is to help those students who want to pursue a career in education but cannot continue their education due to lack of money. Free coaching will be provided by the government to the eligible students preparing for UPSC so that they are prepared for this exam. Assam Pratibha Pratishahan Yojana will help the UPSC aspirants to coach the exams and help them achieve their dreams for the eligible students to be a part of this program. A screening test will be conducted after which the children will be selected and around 500 candidates will be provided free coaching facilities under this program even poor students will be able to continue their studies and fulfil their aspirations .

•  Only those students who are 25 years of age will be eligible for this program
• Only those students whose annual income is less than 2.5 lakhs will be eligible for this program
• Students enrolled in accredited undergraduate or graduate programs are eligible for this program

Step.1: To apply in this scheme, the applicant must first visit the official website of Assam Pratibha Protsahan gappy.assam.gov.in

Step.2: When the applicant goes to the homepage of the official website, he/she has to click on the New Registration option at the top of the main dashboard of the website.

Step.3: When the application form clicks on the new registration option, an application form will show on its screen

Step.4: The applicant has to enter all the information asked in this application form

Step.5: The applicant has to upload the necessary documents along with this application form

Step.6:  After the applicant has entered all the details, then the applicant has to click on the submit button to submit the form, thus completing the application process.
