Objective of the Rythu Bima Scheme
The primary objective of this scheme is to provide financial security to the family of a farmer after their demise. The premium amount for this scheme will be paid through the Life Insurance Corporation of India (LIC). Selected applicants will receive ₹5 lakh as life insurance in case of the farmer’s death. This scheme is applicable to all farmers in Telangana aged between 19 and 50 years. The scheme will officially begin on August 15, 2024.

- The candidate should be a occupant of Telangana.
- The applicant must be a farmer by profession.
- The applicant must own agricultural land.
- Tenant farmers are not eligible for this scheme.
